Teguc-sta

It's been almost a week here in my new home of Tegucigalpa, Honduras. There is a nice quote that I have already heard that I think will take me far: "If things don't go your way, flip the tortilla the other way." If this week is any indication, I will be flipping a lot. However, I have a tentative home that I might get to move into this week, and I am reporting for my new art teacher position tomorrow. There is a great deal of inspiration for art here in the fantasy-like gardens, mountains, and amazing people that I have already come to love.

At the very least, the view is inspirational. Keep the pictures coming. I'm going to have my students do some creative writing based on your photos and art.

Dad is talking to Uncle Garry right now telling him all about your adventures in Teguc these last two weeks. We can't wait to see more pics and Ms. Thornberry inspired art projects from your new school. You are such an inspiration and make a huge difference for so many!

It's really so very beautiful Kallie! I have a sense how much you enjoyed the people and place. Looks like an artist's paradise.
